Like Father Like Son

I would like everyone to know that I have not been neglecting the blog for the past three days.  I have spent them trying to figure out how to upload video from our stupid camcorder.  After spending 12 plus hours on the task, I have given up- accepting the fact that I am a complete technological ditz.  I have informed Scooter that I will no longer be using the HD camcorder to video Noah as I can find no possible way to share the videos with his adoring fans- the files are simply too big!

That being said, at least I can show off the two most important boys in my life with this little tribute to my love and our stinker:

As most of you have already noted, Noah takes after his dad in more ways than one.  They both have blue eyes, blond(ish) hair, and a quirky little dent in their left ears.  They both love the outdoors, farting on me, and possess a talent for music.  Scott is an amazing guitarist and plays the sax like he invented the instrument.  Noah's current instrument of choice is the little piano on his Baby Einstein jumper- Mozart and Beethoven are his favorites, but I hear some Bach every once in a while as well.

Father's Day is approaching, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank my schmoopie for all that he does for us.  Thank you, Scott, for working so hard all day and still smiling when Noah spits his rice on you at night.  Thank you, Sweetheart, for humoring me when I wanted to take Noah swimming, but did not want to go in the pool because the water was too cold for him- I'm sure we were all quite the picture in the tub with our bathing suits on.

Thank you for eating peanut butter & jelly sandwiches for lunch every day for the past two months so we could afford for me to stay home with "Butter-Butt."  Thank you for getting up at 3, 4, 5, and 6 am on your days off to feed our angel so I can sleep- you are amazing.  Thank you, Pookie, for promising to teach me how to catch when you teach Noah (I still close my eyes real tight and hold my hands up in a blocking motion).  Thank you for taking our sleeping baby to my mother's house at 2 am when I was puking my brains out from Rota-virus, for staying home from work with us the next day to take care of me, and for not requesting a divorce when you came down with it the following day- I might not have been so kind!

My love, thank you for being as crazy in love with our son as I am.  For all of the countless other things you do every day for us, thank you.  You are our everything.  Thank you, a thousand times.

Happy First Father's Day!

Noah was not quite ready for those shorts when we put them on him- they are the 6-9 month size- he was only 1 1/2 months at the time...  We will try them again soon-

By the way, Gramps, you rock as well.  You deserve a whole post of your own- and will have one soon...

Happy Father's Day, Baby Whisperer!

And Grampa Red, somehow in the three days you were here, I neglected to get one good picture with you and Noah- I will not let that happen again!  I am so glad you are my Dad!  We love you!  Happy Father's Day.
