As I have neglected to post anything for Noah's 1st 4 1/2 months of life (slacker!), I have some catching up to do. Here is Noah in his first few hours of life. For the duration if this video, I was in recovery- in a blissfully drugged stupor. Don't worry, I saw him very shortly after this... I think...
After this, Noah, our angel, gave us our first parental scare. When he took his first breath, he popped a little hole in his lung, causing it to partially collapse. As a result, the remainder of his stay in the hospital- and much of ours- was spent in the NICU. He was such a brave young man- he only took a pacifier with a little "sweet-ease" on it for his i.v.'s (I had to have my hand numbed!).
Noah was born on a Monday and that following Sunday we were allowed to bring him home. Gams, Mema, and Gramps were all there to meet us and they fed our egos by telling us how amazed they were that he could hold his head up so well. We already knew he was advanced though... You can tell by the look in he eyes here that he knows more than he is letting on.

Noah, I'm so glad you have a blog. Even though I can see you whenever I want, I still like to know that you are making your mark in cyberspace. I like the name of your blog, too! I REALLY liked getting to see pictures of you from before I was born.
Your friend,
Harper
